
Staff Spotlight: Nathan Plitt
Introducing Nathan Plitt, our new supervisor of Plumbing Projects and Fire Protection. Nathan has worked with Facilities Management (FM) for 2 years and previously worked as a plumber with FM!
Nathan plays a crucial leadership role in his organization, where he oversees and manages the entire workflow within his department. His responsibilities include ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget, while also making sure that all operational processes run smoothly. Some of his other key duties are preparing reports, handling customer concerns, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. He also regularly assesses his team’s performance, providing constructive feedback, recognizing achievements, coaching other employees, and also training new hires. This ongoing evaluation process helps ensure that every team member stays motivated and aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Nathan takes pride in fostering a motivating and positive work environment. He encourages open communication, allowing his team to voice concerns, share ideas, and work together on finding creative solutions to challenges. By promoting a culture of collaboration, he helps his team enhance problem-solving abilities and make well-informed decisions. This dynamic and supportive environment has led to improved productivity and a stronger sense of teamwork within his shop.
A favorite part about his role is the collaborative environment here at FM! He appreciates the positive company culture that fosters mutual respect and cooperation. He has built strong relationships with both his colleagues and customers, which makes his work even more fulfilling. The role challenges him in new ways every day, but he’s always motivated by the opportunity to work alongside his talented team on innovative projects.
In his free time, Nathan enjoys outdoor activities like hunting and fishing. He also values spending relaxing quality time bonding with his family. Thank you so much for all the work you do, Nathan!
