Please join us in welcoming the newest member of our Customer Experience Center (CEC) team, Fidel Cadenas Lara! Fidel joined the team in early March and is already a valuable member of the CEC.

We sat down to speak with Fidel just a week after he started his new role to get to know more about him. Fidel is new to working at UC Davis, but had some familiarity with the campus from participating in basketball games here in college! Even so, he says he has been shocked to learn how large the campus actually is! 

We’re highlighting a team member that helps Facilities Management (FM) manage the hundreds of work tasks we receive every day: Emily Francis! Emily has worked as a Workflow Analyst at FM since 2019, and has had a remarkable impact! 

Introducing one of the many faces in the Energy and Engineering department that keep our campus running sustainably - Andre Nelson! Andre is an energy project engineer and started working for Facilities Management (FM) about 6 months ago. Andre has been in Davis for about 10 years and received his undergraduate degree here! 

This quarter we’re highlighting one of our business partners that keeps business at Facilities Management running smoothly, Derrek Kelly! Derrek has worked for Facilities Management (FM) as a financial services supervisor since January of 2022. 

As we step into the new year, I can’t help but look back on the incredible achievements we’ve accomplished. I want to express my sincere thanks to Facilities Management staff for their unwavering commitment to the University’s mission.

We are excited to feature Kelly Newsom as one of our outstanding customers here at Facilities Management! For almost three years, Kelly has worked as the facilities manager at the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. She worked previously as the facilities manager at the College of Biological Sciences. 

This quarter we’re recognizing Julia Blizard, operations coordinator at Fleet Services, as one of Facilities Management’s outstanding employees!

Please join us in welcoming Kyleigh Juarez and Naisa Navarro, two of our new Customer Experience Center (CEC) team members, to Facilities Management! Since starting at the CEC in July and September, respectively, Kyleigh and Naisa have been fantastic additions to the team! 

At UC Davis Facilities Management (FM), there's a friendly face you can count on to keep the elevators running smoothly, and to ensure customer satisfaction. Meet Aimee Spivey, our dedicated Elevator Supervisor in Building Maintenance Services, who has made a remarkable impact since joining us in January 2023.

We’re excited to introduce you to Josh Brown, the newest addition to our Asset Management team! Josh, who joined us in April as a Business Systems Analyst, appreciates the environment at Facilities Management and is excited to get to know Tririga’s unique qualities. With five years of experience at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBL), he is also eager to bring a wealth of knowledge to our team.
